Black Friday! A sale and a giveaway!

Black Friday is upon us!

For all of you sane people who are sitting at home today instead of braving the crowds, I have a sweet deal for you!

Everything in the shop is 15% off - starting 12:00am on Friday and ending 11:59 on Monday, 11/30. The discount will be credited as a refund after your purchase is made - I'll be checking all day tomorrow, so you should have the refund within a few hours of making a purchase.

Additionally, everyone that makes a purchase between now and Monday will be entered to win a totally FREE hat of their choice! I'll select the winner randomly on Tuesday morning and announce the winner here and in the shop announcement section.

Remember, I L-O-V-E custom orders - I've worked with several clients recently to customize hats, mittens and scarfs to match winter jackets and everyone has been thrilled with the results.

Mittens!

I've finally perfected my new mitten pattern and you can now find them in the shop!

It will take me awhile to have all the colors listed, so if you don't see the color you'd like, just ask - I love working on custom orders!

Madeline loves her red mittens. She kept pulling her hat off and holding it beside her mittens - "Mommy, TWO flowers!".

Welcome!

Hello there! This is the official blog for Me and Madeline's Etsy shop. We specialize in hand crocheted hats and hair accessories for the whole family...but especially with little girls in mind.

We are thrilled to be officially open for business and are please to announce that we are accepting custom orders. Our Etsy shop is stocked and we have many items that are already created and ready for shipping.

It is my goal to add a totally new item each week. Right now we are only stocking hats and headbands, but look for other accessories and baby items in the future!

From time to time I'll be sharing free exclusive patterns and tutorials of items I've created. You can expect to see simple sewing projects, crochet patterns and other fun projects that strike my fancy.
